Draft Atlanta Hawks Pick-Swap Watch Thread

After watching Queen last night the Pels just had to make the pick top 5 protected and they could forever justify the trade. Theoretically I wouldn't trade Queen for the 6th overall pick in this draft.

Queen fell way farther than he should have. I thought he just made a ton of sense for the Wizards at 5, but could have seen him going to the Nets or Bulls too. a little less so to the Raptors. i didnt love his theoretical fit here, and i didnt like his fit alongside Zion. but if Pelicans just move zion, they could have something interesting brewing

I wonder if ATL would be thinking something like Tingus + filler + NOP pick for AD?

I think that would be a gross overpay for AD personally... but who knows with these GMs. I don't want DAL adding two Top 10 picks to Flagg next year... but that is what they should do, since they won't own their own draft after that.

I can't imagine them putting in the nola pick, but I agree that would be an extreme overpay.

At this point AD has no value because his contract is a huge risk of being dead money after he inevitably gets injured.

If Spurs were trading for him, I wouldn't offer anything more than Devin/Olynyk/Jeremy and '26 ATL pick.

Yep Hawks got the bad draft between the Wemby and Flagg years and didn't even get the best pick of the draft (Castle).

In the two seasons where he played 30+ minutes, he totaled 92 games, an average of 46. He’s at about half that already. If he craps out again this year, I will dub him Street Clothes Jr.
