The great irony this year is that Trae getting hurt is bad for San Antonio fans looking at the pick swap.
Good news is their schedule gets brutal come the middle of December for a month straight. Coincides with his expected return date tbh.

Another W for the Hawks tonight and Jalen Johnson is quickly becoming a stud for them I fear. Ridiculous stat line from him tonight.

Jalen Johnson is ballin' this season. He was showing flashes last year with some big games. He appears to really have hit his stride this season.

Currently averaging 20 pts / 10 Rbs / 6 Asts / 2 Stls on 58% FG% and 36% 3PT% on 3 attempts per.

Still only 23. And they just locked him into a 5-year extension last year. Another player PATFO passed on for Joshua Primo tbh. :st-cry:

Jalen Johnson played 180/328 career games before this season and has sat both B2Bs this season.
Great when available, but he'll never be healthy enough.

Suns lose by 2 at home.
Gutless worms.
4th qtr
ATL 47
PHx 27

Yeah, that stings. I thought the Suns had this game won. Can't believe they lost. Jalen Johnson is killing it. They might seriously need to look at trading Trae Young, but man, passing up all the players the Spurs did for Primo hurts seeing it.

Jalen's played well in stints, but the only issue has been his ability to stay on court. He could have a monster season if he's able to play most of the games. Definitely should have traded those lottery picks, because if he plays the whole season, they'll be worthless. Fucking Pelicans also bailing them out with a lottery pick too. Probably would have been better for Trae not to be out and the opposite to happened between Trae and Jalen (not that I wish that on anyone).

That’s brutal. Was the rim slippery or what? That will make him think twice every time he’s going for a dunk again

A 360 head to toe.
Has that ever happened in the history of the NBA?
Injury update please.

ATL might be especially scary if one of these scenarios where Trae goes out and some good talent heads to ATL. I have no clue what their needs really are though, I try to limit my viewing of the Hawks to two games per year
And they land a top 3 pick from pelicans

I can't be mad about the Hawks getting better, Dejounte trade served it's purpose.
It's our own fault we held onto those picks as if they were guaranteed to be top5.

I was a pretty adamant Young advocate but its not looking good for him. He's a good floor raiser but also limits the ceilings of teams because of heliocentric playing style and bad defense. Still a good floor raiser for bad teams.

young undeniably is a floor raiser but ATL has added solid depth in recent years to the point where their floor simply isnt that low. people slept on jalen johnson missing more than half of last season as if it could be brushed off

It makes me so irrationally upset that Atlanta managed to get that pick from NOP and they're going to 100% be picking higher than us this year no matter what happens lol I reckon their management still can't believe the managed to get that for Derek fuckin Queen

For so long we assumed that ATL would be so upset with how we "fleeced" them in the DJM deal wouldn't want to deal with us ever again... but in reality they're like "We got this side chick in NOLA, we cool"

Jesus, can't believe they came back from 20 down in the fourth, just assumed that game was over...they may actually be good (without Trae- get well soon)

Its that damn 13th pick coin flip costing us. If we win that flip against the Kings we likely get that deal. Ugh!

I'll steal a comment from somewhere else when a Spurs fan complained about the same thing: This is the greed Bible warns us about. :st-lol:

We got the potential GOAT, picked the best player in his class with #4, Harper also looks like a future star, we got a 27 year old all-star for cheap...how much more do we need?
The only thing I want is for four of them to stay healthy.

Sure hope they don't keep making smart moves and trade Trae for whatever they can get for him, they are just so much move effective defensively without him out there. Jalen's top 20 in Ast%, him and Dyson can shoulder the creation load without that total sieve on D. Plus Dyson is cold- unless he flat forget how to shot, he's below to way way below career average from nearly every distance.

Tip of the hat to Saleh, dudes made some really strong moves and was in position to say yet to the "no duh" Pels offer.

You are absolutely right...but I'd really love another forward! But the basketball gods have been very very good to us.
Still hopeful the forward is Oly, he's still working back into shape and has given us 11 boards and 13 assists in his 37 training camp minutes.
We STACK! (now just gotta learn how to close and win)

I'm hoping Bryant can become that player a few years down the road.
Or maybe a miracle happens and Jeremy gets his shit together.
Every team has some weak points, we couldn't fix everything in one summer.

When people say Dejounte doesn't make teams better... they only need to look at how much better he's allowed SAS and ATL to get.................. :st-lol:
