Analysis 2026 First Round Opponent Watch

I feel like the Clippers are a better playoff team than the Suns mainly because of Kawhi’s ability to go to another level, and I think most teams would prefer to play the Suns over the Clippers.

But I feel the Spurs matchup much better vs the Clippers than the Suns. In any case, Spurs in 5 or 6 for both series.

I think I would prefer the Suns, they have an interesting team, but the Clippers have more talent, and Kawhi has been so good this season, dude can be flat out unstoppable when he gets it going.

Clippers would be the most satisfying to beat. Honestly think Suns would be easier though.

Castle limiting his fouls will be paramount for the playoffs. No cheapies. Curry, Kawhi, Luka, Shai and Booker are all capable of drawing fouls quickly. Especially Shai and Luka.

Blazers really giving it to LAC tonight with a chance to pull within a game in the Loss Column for 8th.

I’ve said this before… but Blazers may also be quite a tough matchup for us. They’re one of the best offensive rebounding teams in the league and they have a few guys who can get hot from 3. Jrue is playing like a beast tonight against the Clippers.

Of the four play-in teams… Blazers are probably right behind Suns of who I’m most concerned about. We’ll see how we match up against them in the one game we have left.
