**2025 Baseline Bums NFL Season Thread**

Vastly superior play calling by Detroit when compared to the Harbaughs.
I know that is a low bar to pass but the games difference lay there imo.

And Henry. 1 fumble in the previous 600 carries now two 4th qtr chokers in a row. Situational awareness seems gonzo.

It's impressive that Dan Campbell walks around so easily with those massive fucking balls.

Couple interesting history stats set last night.

1. The Ravens have 111 points through three games this season, which is the most ever for a team with a losing record.

2. Meanwhile, the Detroit Lions made history themselves, with Amon Ra St. Brown, Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery all recording a touchdown in the game for a 10th time. It is the most a trio has done for one team in NFL history,

Leak out plays always work to close out games, yet coaches rarely run them...

Fake block on a "run" play and leak out causes defender to hesitate. Defenders are too programmed to stop the run in late game situations.
Leak concepts are nasty, and its absolutely diabolical when you see teams run them in the 2nd half of preseason games lol

But i think they're best used sparingly. Have to sell the runblocking over the course of a game for it to really spring the TE loose. These leak plays often really have 1 read, then checkdown, so you need to have a degree of confidence it will be open

Didn't know about this:

It will be a full house at AT&T Stadium on Sunday night. While with the Cowboys, Parsons rented a suite for the season. There are no refunds, so it’s “going to be packed” for his return to the stadium at which he had 27.5 sacks in 33 games.

Harrison Jr.... yikes.

His struggles look even worse when you see what Odunze and Nabers are doing.

One of my worst Fantasy Football draft picks ever...
There you go. Hopefully you u didnt bench him.

Making catches in traffic was his strength as OSU. Hopefully this helps to right the ship for him, tbh.

Hopefully didn't really like his vertical on that catch either. And if he can make catches in traffic than give him more targets.

Welp, kickers going to have to learn not to get cute with kickoffs late in games like that (landing zone infraction). Plus standard prevent defense thinking 29 seconds isn't enough time to get 25 yards...

It makes me look stupid, Jones should have said.

For the record, I hate Jerry Jones and agree he completely fumbled the situation with Micah Parsons.

That said...why does he deserve a tribute?

Yes, he is a very good player who contributed to a lot of regular season wins. He also won...what, one playoff game with the team over four seasons? And he consistently sucked in those playoff games.

AND he demanded a trade, and got it.

Save the tributes for people who deserve them. Giving one to Micah would be like when the Spurs gave one to DeMar or Pau...like, thanks for a bunch of nothing.

If those are your criteria, there should have been no tributes for the last 30 years.

I'm fine with tributes for guys like Romo or Witten who spent their entire career fighting for the Cowboys.

Micah...come on. He didn't really achieve anything other than empty stats on a paper tiger, and asked to leave.

They need to figure something out quick. The top teams in the league are starting to make them a memory. The cracks were visible last year. They got away with way too many close games. It's looking like this year will be the serious wake up
If the Chiefs offense scores over 30 on us tomorrow, I hope Zach Orr is fired come Monday morning . We have scored literally 109 points in 3 games and are 1-2

Would be nice if Jeanty can make it a few yards past the LOS before getting cracked today tbh.
