**2025 Baseline Bums NFL Season Thread**

I'm all for Dallas not resigning Micah since they're not contenders with or without him. The one thing Jerry has never done is blown up the team and rebuild entirely, keeping them in perpetual mediocrity for 30 years. Maybe he's finally learning?

you’re right, drop him in coverage. His 0.25 sack/game playoff average is 44m/yr tier, was especially helpful against the packers in 2023.

saw he had a 2 tackle game today, rounding into late season/playoff form early, love to see it!
Let's take four whole playoff games and just give up on a generational defender at 26 years old. But keep that copium flowing. I'm sure Jerry will use those two draft picks he got to draft more players he can run off

He just gave out a bunch of contracts to guys that will keep the team in mediocrity. He doesn't care about winning. He only cares about his brand and keeping himself in the news. He cares about stuff like his documentary. He's going to have to die before Dallas is truly a contender again

Even if Micah doesn't get a sack -- his pressures/attention he gets coverage wise give his teammates an opportunity to make a play.

In other news, I'm not sure where Houston got this guy to run the offense but they need to send him back there. Once again it's the Houston " we are just sort of doing things" texans.

I keep telling co-workers the second Jerry is out of the picture; the Cowboys will make it to the conference championship within 2 years.

I think the Chiefs need to trade for a receiving type running back.

They need to figure something out quick. The top teams in the league are starting to make them a memory. The cracks were visible last year. They got away with way too many close games. It's looking like this year will be the serious wake up call

Illegal formation rules need to be changed. If the offense is behind the line of scrimmage, I don't care how they are lined up.

I also hate ineligible man downfield and ineligible receiver.

What a fucking dive by Skattebo

Also, Blocked FGs... so hot rn.

Chiefs will probably win just because the Giants don't have a kicker tonight.

Cowboy fan here, if it wasn’t for our superhuman kicker, we’d be 0-3.

Terrible team led by a terrible gm.

Colts 3-0, Texans 0-3. Just like we all predicted

yeah where things actually matter. just a totally unearned “generational” label too. I’m just happy packers aren’t title contenders either.
They are much closer than Dallas is. You like the point at Parsons and things he didn't doing the playoffs instead of pointing at your whole team and the failure it has been year after year due to a complete systemic meltdown authored by Jerry Jones. But look on the bright side, Jerry Jones made you a whole documentary and now you don't have to pull those VHS tapes out anymore

And God damn it here you are. I was hoping you wouldn't find this place. On the serious tip, it's good to see you brother

It’s the players not executing more than the guy writing the checks. Paying Micah the inflated edge rusher rate (Hendrickson, Crosby, Garrett, watt level) isn’t it, notice how these are all ass teams that pay this much for “generational” players.

hang the “better than the bottomed out cowboys” banner for Green Bay!

Blaming the players huh? Is that you Jerry Jones?

Good to see you too! I figured I'd go talk some shit on ST now that it seems the Colts are finally out of post-Andrew Luck retirement purgatory, and saw you guys had moved over here. Who knew it would be Danny Dimes lmao.

I don't know if his style is sustainable, but I agree he's fun to watch. I think he's better suited as a situation back than and every down back
I don't think it is fwiw, undersized and a little slow but it'll be cool seeing him before he's worn down. definitely needs to get better hands etc to make him more versatile. hope giants pull this off, division records be damned

I don't know what the fuck is going on in Houston. Seems like every year I kind of half has feel like I know what the fuck is going on it turns into I don't know what the fuck is going on. We are what we are I suppose

Raiders take a rb instead of a high end OL prospect and now Jeanty is one of 2 backs in the league (chase brown) who averages negative yards before contact per rush
