**2025 Baseline Bums NFL Season Thread**

NGL, this is the least interested I've ever been in football. Feels kind of nice, honestly.

Ravens have truly made an art of collapsing in the 4th and snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

GB defense was stellar during that game, eventhough Lions have a new O coordinator and lost some O lines compared to last season, it is still impressive to hold Goff to one single TD and it was at the end when the game was already lost

Took a little longer than I thought, but I knew the good old Bears would make an appearance.

New coach, same shit. Just fucking kill me, tbh.

Now I can just sit back and enjoy the rest of the season without any personal expectations.

is it a case of Lions being quite good despite dat initial loss against the packers or Bears being really that bad tbh ?

I think it's more the latter. The Lions offense looks a lot like it did last year it's just that Green Bay defense is swole this year. That team looks like a straight contender.

Houston has lost two games they should have won due to lack of discipline and coaching mistakes. The team itself is well constructed but I'm starting to worry that Demeco Ryans isn't the guy. He and Caserio have put together a good culture but the execution is the problem. You can't keep making this kind of mistakes they make and expect to be a contender.

I thought it was you who tuned to the Balt radio station on your travels.
This ownership will never replace Harbaugh. Sound familiar? But what is the current local vibe?

Never mind historic Harbaugheimer, check this, last weeks dilly:
Ravens are the first team in NFL history to score 40+ points and rush for 235+ yards in a loss (teams were previously 277-0 including playoffs)

Since 2022, Harbaugh and the Ravens have blown eight double-digit leads,
Bills have blown 3
Chiefs 1. Altho we can agree their days of slithering out of Ls with the greasiest of Ws is historic and appears over.

Can we get DAF knowledge of this board? He's a good sport, i think he'll take KCs apparent Bowl run ending well. The Swifts were shocking called for two offensive holds last week. It's ova.

Yup, I live in MD.
Pretty much all local talent agrees that one of the biggest thing holding this team back is Harbaugh's tendency to overthink and psych himself out in big games/moments.
Like how the fuck do you not got for the 4th & short when you've got Lamar, Henry and Zay who've been abusing the Bills D all game long. Give the opportunity to win it to your own studs instead of giving it to Josh Allen.
This recent pattern where Harbaugh inexplicably decides to abandon what's been working in big moments drives the locals crazy. Understandable, tbh.
But yeah, everyone knows that Harbaugh is here to stay unless the Ravens have a losing season that's followed by a poor start the following season.
