Player The unfortunately low-ceilinged Shaolin monastery of Victor Wembanyama

But I'm also one of those people that think Olajuwon and the Rockets would have taken down the Bulls in at least one of those years
Yeah if Jordan hadn't choked away that series to the 95 Magic and then survived Indy Hakeem would have ground the Bulls to a pulp. 95 Rockets are the most underrated team of all time IMO. I think even the 94 Rockets would have had a real shot had Jordan not retired even with that Bulls team being mostly intact plus adding Kukoc.

With the Wemby MVP talk heating up we have,

Luka getting a 1 game ban for this 16th tech..

And I am sorry that should factor into any MVP voting. He is such a whiny baby..

I missed it. What did he say? Was he kissing the asses of the other MVP candidates?
A lot of “yeah but” ing Wemby. not taking a strong stance but saying that Luka and shai create like 50 PPG for their teams and Wemby is at like 30 and “just isn’t there yet”

OKC’s Owner forced that trade, and on top of that, they decided that keeping Ibaka and KENDRICK FUCKING PERKINS was more important than Harden. They could easily have kept that trio together. Stupidity and penny pinching caused that.
They needed to keep Ibaka, but Perkins was the obvious out, he was a zero on offense... sure he was the best big man defender but the league was becoming less big man centric by that point.

Aren’t you the one who commented on “the klutch narrarive” after a list of 10 non-klutch players?

Are you seeing Rich Paul in your room right now?
Klutch=lebron.

Nick wright has been carrying water for LeBron his entire career.

He hears the wemby footsteps stomping behind him and is trying to get ahead of wemby surpassing his fake goat by throwing out these bad faith arguments. The players don’t have to be klutch to further the klutch agenda

Wemby saw SGA shoot 33% last night and said "hold my beer." One of my least favorite offensive games of his career today tbh. Was just clearly pressing. The chucking at the end while up 30 to try and pad his stats was not it. Hopefully we don't do that ever again. Got the W though and the train keeps rollin' which is all that matters.

One game closer to that unanimous DPOY award and that's all that matters, tbh. MVP is far too media and idiotic discourse-driven to get hung up on.

Oh, and 4 wins away from a 60-win season, that too. Surreal :st-smokin:

It won’t be unanimous. People will vote gobert or Chet out spite

I do agree that Wemby showed a lot of immaturity with the way he was playing today. Looked like he was playing sped up, almost desperate for opportunities to score rather than letting the game come to him naturally. I think we have to remember that he's 22 years old and sometimes acts like it.

That being said, I kind of like the coaching staff leaving him out there to get some extra burn.

Lmao thinking DPOY matter than MVP.

I used to be a Lebron stan outside of the Spurs but his politicking with his scrub son, his association with Diddy, and other offcourt passive aggressive bullshit has soured him for me.

So before it was Lebron>MJ, now I have no opinion on this tbh since MJ is an even bigger POS human being 😂

Nepotism is as old as time and sports are no different than most businesses in that its widespread.

Off the top, in the NBA alone, Adelman Ainge, Bickerstaff, Dunleavy, Kerr, Unseld and West all have or recently had sons as front office executives and coaches, yet only James and Antetokounmpo receive criticism for it.

Relative to the value James has brought to his franchises and the league at large, he's been significantly underpaid throughout his career, so I don't have a problem with him flexing his power to pull this off. Let's face it, many people would if they could.
