He's been since the moment he was drafted.Carter Bryant is already ahead of him imo

What improvements?think it's over tbh, mitch doesn't know how to use him, despite the obvious improvements and him being our best perimeter defender by landslide. I'm not mad, it is what it is, we move on we'll be still good.
There is no way to use him.Sochan cant hit open shots,Cant finish strong at the rim,Cant post up anybody.I like sochan,But itsthink it's over tbh, mitch doesn't know how to use him, despite the obvious improvements and him being our best perimeter defender by landslide. If the Spurs had any kind of offers or teams with real interest in him last season or during the offseason, they may have squandered what looks like/might have been his highest trade valueYeah, looks like Mitch & Sweeney are finally out on him...Complete disaster of '22 draft. Real talk: he might be a vet minimum guy at this point![]()
The facts don't lie, no argument here. I hate to see people fail. I'm a teacher and naturally empathic person. I've been the odd man out on teams as the talent improved and it sucks. Also, Jeremy seems like a lost soul. That said, I'm so glad Mitch benched him and am in support of the team improving with or without him.Why would you feel bad for him?
He's one of those players who got to the league based on nothing but his physical talents.
He's had 3.5 years with one of the best player development franchises and all of that practice has amounted to more or less nothing.
Yes, he got fucked over with point guard and backup big experiments, but those happened only because he wasn't good enough for his primary role.
Look at it this way.The facts don't lie, no argument here. I hate to see people fail. I'm a teacher and naturally empathic person. let's not get stupid, it is very obvious his shot improved a lot. It may not be good enough, but it surely improved a lot. I think his defense regressed, actually, and I blame mitch for it.What improvements?
He started taking 3s, but he's 0-8 over the past 3 games. Blazers left him open by design and he wasn't even close on either attempt.
Every aspect of his offensive game except rebounding is really bad.
Defense is good, but not elite. The days of one-way players being a thing are long gone.
I don't see it as Sochan failing. I see him as a success on a personal level. The facts don't lie, no argument here. I hate to see people fail. I'm a teacher and naturally empathic person. Yes, he played zero minutes in the second half. He was actually benched in the 2Q when Mitch went to Kelly instead of Sochanwas he benched the entire second half? don’t remember him at all after a certain point
Let’s just operate under the assumption that the utter and complete failure of the 2021 and 2022 drafts are what enabled the 2023, 2024 and 2025 drafts.Spurs had 3 first rounders and completely whiffed on all of them in 2022. This draft is a good reminder of why a team shouldn't always horde assets. We were in a different spot then obviously but thinking about the future.
It’s strange that out of the 3, Wesley might have the longest lasting career but that’s not saying much at all.Spurs had 3 first rounders and completely whiffed on all of them in 2022. This draft is a good reminder of why a team shouldn't always horde assets. We were in a different spot then obviously but thinking about the future.
I’ve been a huge Sochan fan, really pulling for him these years, but last night was real bad. Some of the worst play I’ve seen in an NBA game. What makes the 2022 draft even worse is Jalen Williams was drafted after Sochan![]()
There is a way to make him shine, we've seen it, but it requires him being the center of the team and being used in simple P&R and leaving him free to cut and attack the rim etcThere is no way to use him.Sochan cant hit open shots,Cant finish strong at the rim,Cant post up anybody.I like sochan,But its
best to move him and do him a favor and see if any other team can get something from him.Cause we cant at the moment.
