If Dylan isn’t starting by opening night season 2 you can expect that to change tbhtbh I am quite surprise Ron Harper's tweets have been mature and encouraging instead of toxic and individualism stuff

If he continues to have anywhere close to the impact he has shown so far (small sample size obviously) he better be starting. If Dylan isn’t starting by opening night season 2 you can expect that to change tbh![]()
As long as Fox is here, Harper won’t start. He’ll be the Manu off the bench and he’ll still play 30 minutes a gameIf he continues to have anywhere close to the impact he has shown so far (small sample size obviously) he better be starting.
I was thinking the same thing recently. I look at Castle now and how he's playing and wonder if Dylan would also have kept improving more and more as each game went along. The most annoying thing is that Harper looked better than Castle before he got injured.
Castle significantly improved his game since, but still.
In other injury news, rookie guard Dylan Harper(left calf strain) is "progressing," according to Johnson. Harper first suffered the calf injury on Nov. 2 but is no longer wearing a walking boot on his left leg.
"It's getting better," Johnson said. "He's out of the boot. You've just got to build that thing up. For every day that you were in the boot or off the court, you've probably got to hit it on the other side. It'll be good to have him back on the court ramping up pretty soon."
I think today's Cloudflare outage fucked up embedding.
Video shows Harper getting up some shots today which is a great sign. Won’t return in the next game or two but hopefully in the near future.

Not a lot of jump on his shots but still a good sign. When I tore my calf, I couldn’t do anything for a month. He’ll probably be back at the beginning of December.
Hopefully you are right. In regard to Dylan's lift, I don't know him well enough, does he usually get a bit of lift on his jump shots? Not a lot of jump on his shots but still a good sign. When I tore my calf, I couldn’t do anything for a month. He’ll probably be back at the beginning of December.
i love harper as well, but flagg would have been the better fit by a lot. After a few weeks, I'm pretty confident in stating that Harper is the best rookie right now. I'm pretty happy the Spurs slid to two, tbh.

I agree that the Spurs really need a legit 3, but Harper is far better than I dreamed. He and Castle are going to be Parker and Ginobili for this squad for at least the next decade.i love harper as well, but flagg would have been the better fit by a lot.
Yeah, Dylan was getting the other guys great shots. I was loving watching him play and pass the ball to teammates. I was anticipating him coming in every game. A lot of those threes Keldon hit, I thought the passes from Dylan really made a difference towards them knocking down the shot. He got them the ball in the flow of the game. The timing of the passes IMO made it easier for them to hit the shot. I can't wait until he comes back. I just hope he's healthy real soon.Keldon’s drop from 42% to 24% on threes shows how effective Harper was in getting guys the ball in their spots,
