News The Official Check Here Before Asking About Injury Return Dates Thread

All I can think of is if they really are "close," they don't want to bring them back in a game like against the Rockets that is likely to be very physical and intense. Probably don't want to risk injury, but I doubt I'm right. The "close" thing is probably BS. I guess we'll see next game or the game after.

Things we've been saying since the start of the season. 😅

Looks like Kornet may have died :st-lol: I don't think I have seen him on the bench since he picked his ankle sprain, which nobody saw.

I’ve seen him on the bench at the most recent home games.

According to Michael C. Wright, he anticipates Fox is back by the end of this week.

Spurs discussion starts around 21:30.

Didn't watch this yet, but seeing Nico's mug there pisses me off. He needs to be fired and not ever hired by an NBA team again. Luka's looking great for the Lakers so far. He's in better shape and motivated. This clown just had to send him to the Lakers. And to top it off, Davis is looking even more injury prone than usual.

Nico’s face has pissed me off for a long time, but there’s no way the NBA, Silver and his goons, the Dallas owners, the new Lakers owners, weren’t the orchestrators of that Luka trade. Nico was just the weird looking pawn/patsy.

I’m planning to take 6 weeks off from work because I may have caught a common cold, it’s better to be safe than risk pneumonia.

This crap is getting ridiculous.

If they're not dicking us around about the severity of the injuries to Fox and Kornet then I would think the logical explanation is they will come back tomorrow since tonight is the first game of a back to back against a good and physical team and you'd preferably like to get them back against a soft opponent. So I really hope they're back for the Pels game tomorrow

The best is Kelly and Sochan as questionable :st-lmao:

That is my thinking too, it makes more sense to brink Fox on Saturday against an easier Pelicans team.

I find myself hoping Dallas improves this season, last thing we need is for Nico to get fired, AD to get moved, and them to tank and land a top 3 pick in the 2026 draft. Facing Flagg + Darryn Peterson / Cam Boozer / Dybantsa for the foreseeable future is not something I'm looking forward to.

I'm not sure I can watch much more of this. I'm too used to TD, Manu, TP and just smarter players in general. No wonder TD couldn't handle coaching. He must have felt very frustrated watching inferior players screw up time and time again and not being able to do anything about it. It's too frustrating. I might just start checking in for when Fox and/or Harper get back. Need some higher BBallIQ players out there.
Then don't watch and don't post this stupid shit. You are choosing to be incredibly negative and ignorant. Stop ignoring the fact the Spurs are down an AS point guard and their backup PG and the a secondary ball-handler is playing fulltime, lead guard. Stop ignoring that Lindy Waters played 10 minutes as the backup PG. Stop ignoring that the last time Timmy, Manu and Tony last suit up together was 10 seasons ago. Stop ignoring that 2018 was the last time that any of those guys suited up for the Spurs.
If your frustrated by the growing pangs of a young team lead by a 20y/o playing out of position has lead us to a 5-2 start, don't watch. You don't have to be frustrated, just tune out.
I'm frustrated by this stupidity and negativity. Don't watch and definitely don't post if this is what your bringing.
"I'm too used to..." something that hasn't happened in a decade? STFU

For sure, Dallas has some really nice pieces for win now teams: PJ, Gafford, Klay, Naji. Russell could fetch a 2nd. Can't get value for AD, but another GM may not care.
Flagg, Lively, Christie, Hardy + a top3 pick and extra picks is a solid foundation.
I don't want them getting value for those guys, I want them fighting for the Kyrie/AD 2 yr win now window.

If we didn't see them in at least street cloths we would be asking for proof of life lol.
Yeah, this is getting a bit ridiculous. I mean, if there are some complications or setbacks why is it so hard to make a statement to the fans about it?

If they go that route, though, Spurs should pounce on PJ Washington. Some of the best opportunities occur right when teams pivot to tank and need to dump their best vets, that's how Boston took Derrick White from us and Porzingis from Washington, how Denver landed Aaron Gordon, etc.

Oh man, I would love PJ here. He would address so many holes tha we have on this team right now.

thats why i loved what they did with Gary Neal. they basically told him that he is allowed to do 3 things in the half court

1) catch and shoot
2) one dribble pull-up
3) two dribble floater

he occassionally did some fun things in transition with the odd good pass, but as far as their planned offense, was extremely simple

thats it. simplify people's games and you can get them to be productive in their roles
Ahh Gary Neal.
Fun times.
