I'm just saying it's nice of him and says a lot about his character. He has every reason to have some kind of resentment towards Fox if he was a loser like Uncle Dennis. But he's bought into what the Spurs are doing.

Pops knows what he's talking about... this is the Spurs entire design. We don't need any one player to win, the entire team supports one another... one guy is off, another steps up.

Fair criticism to ask whether you should have someone on a max if that is your philosophy, but that's over now and it won't hurt us for a few more years so just enjoy it while you can.

It's such an unprecedented situation, an in prime star getting traded to a team and having his successor in place 3-4 months after being acquired.

Injuries aside, if they win a championship this season or next, the second biggest reason will be the three headed monster.

If they don't, it'll be the biggest reason because the resources being expended on the overlap are not being utilized to balance the roster.
