Player The Layne Staley Depression-Laden Foxhole of De'Aaron Martez Fox

Such a soft foul called on Manu. Then to top it off, TD was hacked on the last play of regulation and should have had two free throws to win the game. Games like that made me think the league was rigged. Dallas got what they deserved in the finals because they never should have been there in the first place. Same as 2012 Thunder, those f#$kers got what they deserved because they shouldn't have been there either with the egregious calls the Spurs got in game 5 (Ibaka goaltend on Manu and Harden And 1 three because of the blown goaltending call, then not to mention all the touch fouls in the second half of game 6 in OKC when the Spurs were up by 20 at half time).

This game, you could say the Spurs got some calls to go their way, but still, plenty were missed. Victor should have had more free throws and Steph just isn't allowed to play anywhere near as aggressive as guys like Dort or OKC players. I don't understand why that is.

agreed on all points

Steph Castle on offense, the only difference between him and SGA is really the whistle.

It is not unacceptable to call player on poor performance. Hating on him is. It's not like he's a big disappointment whole season. It's just one shitty game and some are acting like his stollen their last dollar, raped daughter and eaten favourite pet.
fox has had severeal bad games,Luckily it didnt matter cause others stepped up and we still won.So far not sure fox has lived up to his
contract ext this season. But none of this matters untill the playsoffs.Thats when judgement will be given.

100%. On top of it all it wasn't only Fox struggling. Others for example also had shit 3pt shooting game. KJ. Steph, Davin (after first tree made 3s), all went ice cold. It happens. Not good but acceptable.
Totally unacceptable is to go online to fucking hate on player probably just because your shitty life is a string of failures and you can't even compensate for it by claiming victory in a basketball game in which you didn't participate because sitting your fat ass on the couch is not a participation. If you want to win something so badly move you lazy hating ass and play some games yourself. And then you can be proud if you win, or hate on yourself on X for the whole Easter holidays for losing I don't care but STFU about people really trying hard and falling once while doing so.
I think it's fine to shit your pants about it in the moment in the game thread (that's kinda the point of game threads). But once the game is over, get over it

Game treads have different rules. It's all about emotional response to latest play. Often over the top but it's ok to vent there. (That's why I try to avoid them.)

What a truly miserable piece of shit. Cut from the same cloth as that loser derozan.

Muh clutch player of the year!!
Muh playoff experience!!!

Same season getting FACEFUCKED by the warriors in the first (1st) round LMFAO

Fuck this asshole. Can’t wait till he’s off the team
This is one of the dumbest posts ever on this forum.

the guy had a bad game, this is not the end of the world. Yes, he is going to be overpaid next year if he has the same level of play as this year. The Spurs were looking for a PG to complement Wemby and didn't have a lot of opportunities so they picked Fox and gave him his max contract to keep him, they didn't know that they were going to have the 2nd pick of the draft and Harper. Fox is not going anywhere for the next 2 years so people better get used to it. Hopefully, he'll work on his jumper and FT this summer.

He may be a liability in the Denver matchup which means we need Castle and Harper to be feasting. Fox will do much better against OKC tbh.

You watch this last minute Shaqtin'a-fool sequence and his meltdown against the same Nuggets a week ago, how do people trust he wouldn't recreate his brand of nonchalant choke acts in the playoffs? There is something about the way he does it. He is neither out of control like Westbrook nor a total disappearing act like Harden: He is too blasé in the act of vomitous basketball

In today’s podcast, Bill Simmons just took Fox in his most intriguing wild card / hot seat draft category.

I think Fox’s demeanor, he smiles a lot. Now your reaction to that will be determined if you already have prejudice against the dude or not.

Most obvious pick, tbh. He couldn't take us home past Nuggets 3rd stringers.. The fretting from various corners has already started.

Even if he shits the bed in the playoffs, they’ll be stuck with him for at least another season tbh.

What do you think happens, depending on his performance?
If he completely shits the bed, then I think we’ll hear a lot of chatter about him getting moved between the offseason all the way up to the deadline, but it will be held off until the following offseason.
