Player The "It's My Time" Busted Clocktower of Devin Vassell

GUys

the quaternity backcourt of Fox, Castle, Harper and Vassell could be something

Great game by Devin but hopefully he doesn't use this as Main Character fuel for the rest of the season. Press the gas when you're helping, press the brake when you're not. Play the role necessary each game and remain a net positive. The team will be all the better for it.

Devin Vassell with an incredible game tonight! He worked so hard to get healthy and get back to the game and tonight all his patience and hard work pays off. Congrats, Devin. That was a remarkable performance.

happy for him, that was a great game but we have seen that in the past, he needs to show consistency

Great game, hope he keeps it up. Looking at his career trajectory, there are a lot of similarities between Vassell and that of De'Andre Hunter who is probably one of his closer dopplegangers both stat-wise and role-wise

Devin's brilliance, besides making shots, was he was working within the schemes and not forcing anything. Denver was slow to rotate to him the whole game. That's a team effort and he stayed within the team framework every second out there. I'll raise my hand as a DV hater, but, gotta give him credit last night. Overall, he's making the transition to being a potent role player this season. I think that's all anyone really wants from him. Fox was really masterful in setting up the offense to get many of those open looks.

Fox was awesome, reading the D as overcommitted on him, bent it, then dimed, over and over. Fucking brilliant.

Crazy what a scorching game can do for season stats when it’s early. Dev now shooting 40% from 3 this year.

He shot 41.5% and 41.9% his two years at FSU. The only surprise is that he hasn’t done it in the NBA yet.

The last time we played a game after game 82, the 2022 play in vs. N.O., Dev was literally the only one to show up.
Yep. And I said it numerous times over on ST. It's one of the reasons I wanted to give him more chances before this season started.

I'm pretty sure there is much stronger "hate" for Devin and other players online than here.
On an unrelated note, I hate calendar sayings like "The work will always show".

Confirmed: DV reads BB forum, and sees the haters.

Looks like all this hate really got to him. People are way too harsh with expressing negative emotions about something as trivial in a grand scheme of things. It's not like they are not trying hard giving 100% every night. Quitters and lazy don't make it into NBA usually.
when you make 27 million dollars a year you have to accept that fans can be upset if you play like shit

So far .402 in 13 November DESPITE 2-14 for the first two games. This is approaching sustainable

hmm
I'm still a bit of a sceptic (it's my nature), but c'mon Devin prove me wrong

As a hater, the reason I dislike him is that he thinks he's accomplished something after one really good game. I always give him credit when it's due. It just ain't due very often.
