Playing time should be earned to get accountability. If he can’t pull his weight then bench him. Let Olynyk start. That’s the thing our roster is really thin at PF/C position and now getting exposed
For most players that’s the case but this guys got a documented history. Plus he’s old and washed ok top of that.
most of his 3 pointers are now open due to the teams packing the paint to prevent Castle, Harper and Fox's drives. Him missing those is a huge liability. He is clearly not the only problem, for me Fox is becoming the main one with for his salary, but if he doesn't shoot at what's expected of him, i.e., better than 37-38%, that won't open the paint for our guards who cannot throw the ball in the ocean
Nah HB is not owed a starting spot and I would like to have him back in a reduced role next season on perhaps a two year deal. He's in an insane slump but the guy is still a good shooter with some size who could be a useful injury backup or guy to play when others are in foul trouble and he seems very well respected in the locker room. But priority #1 for this front office is definitely to land a starting PF who can shoot either at the deadline, in the draft, or in free agency.

Lindy Waters did more than Barnes in half the time. There's not one player in the main rotation who's worse than Harrison Barnes. You can't name one. He's the weakest link and needs to be replaced. The only idiot who doesn't understand this is you. Meanwhile you can hold this

I never actually thought of that. I know you are likely joking, but Harrison does know of being called Mr. 100%, so I wonder if that is affecting his shooting in a very small way. Usually a player might not know what the commentators are saying, but in this case, he is well aware of it. I wonder if it's played a small part causing in him a psychological issue shooting the ball (I'm sure at first it's had nothing to do with it, he was just in slump, but the Mr. 100% thing may have caused him to not be able to break out of the slump).Except when he calls a scrub "Mr. 100%" cursing him for weeks with no end in sight.. when I say he's the weakest link I'm clearly talking about the rotation. Not no Sochan, Waters, Olynyk, Bryant, etc. He's the weakest part out of all of those 9 guys that we play when fully healthy. Which means his position is obviously the one we should upgrade and thus send him to the bench. And I think Barnes off the bench can be pretty valuable. His plus minus is worthless if he only scores 2 points and has 0 rebounds playing the 4 no matter how you slice it. You are in fact the one comparing apples to oranges bringing third stringers and G-Leaguers into the conversation, when they weren't even part of it.
