Even at UA he didn’t play that much, slightly under 20 minutes. He probably needs basic basketball skills taught, how to set a screen, do a DHO, what is a rocker step, what is the triple threat position.

This right here. Greedily, I'm sure all here were hoping for another diamond in the rough with this kid, but it's clear he is another project but that can still pan out. He needs reps and confidence right now. Definitely will take time. Good news is we might get another shot at it again with this year's draft at around the 15th pick, or a trade for someone who is more proven, that will lead to hopefully healthy competition for the spot. Way too soon to count this kid out yet for the future though.
 
This stint will be good for him. Wonder if this is just while they try to up Sochan’s trade value over the next few weeks.:unsure:

currently no defensive fundamentals tbh, hopefully he has a good coach over there
 
we dont need carter to be a blocker fwiw. we need him to stay by his man and not foul. but whatever they'll figure it out.
