In the regular season, sure. But when it comes to the playoffs and you're playing really great teams every series, he's going to need a consistent 3 ball, no questions about it. The playoffs are all about teams exposing and taking advantage of your weaknesses and his outside shooting will need to be there consistently. His defense is too good to be taken off the court.
