Player The blessed howl's moving castle of Stephon Javonte

Castle definitely does not have a "conventional PG feel", but he does read the floor well, passes, and can run the PR well. Defense is outstanding. I think his outside shooting will come around. He also will be impossible for small PGs to guard

Castle is a killer who won ROY last year and has been immediately forgotten by the national media and has a guy who never played an nba game before as his alleged replacement.

…I think he took that personally and is generally looking to remind people of what he is

So when Fox come back hat do you do ? Put castle at 2 ? Vassell at 3 ? I personally would move vasell to bench and keep Barnes and champ in starting lineup. When sochan comes back hoping shooting improvement rumors true - move Barnes to bench so we can have legitimate PF.

Pg fox
Sg Castle
Sf champ
Pf sochan
C Wemby

Pg Harper
Sg VASSELL
SF KELDON
PF Barnes
C kornet

Pg Mac
Sg Lindy
Sf Bryant
Pf bymbo
C olynyk

This distributes the shooting fairly among all three teams.

If Devs recent defensive interest is real, I think Champ goes to the bench and they shift Steph to the 3 (where he should be anyway IMO). He was checking Cooper yesterday pretty well.

And then we come the one of the key Qs of the year: can you really start Steph and Jeremy together?

Castle/ Vassell or Keldon or DJG
Vassell/ Keldon or Champ or Carter
Champ/ Barnes or Kornet or Sochan or Keldon
Wemby/ Kornet

I want the 3 guards, Champ and Wemby on the court at the same time.

It won’t be a starting lineup but I think we’ll see it at some point.

wtf is it going to take Mitch. Castle 9 turnovers. He can’t handle the ball.
The kid needs to make mistakes to learn, he's accustomed us to so much poise that it's surprising, but he'll get better bc of that game. His pride will help a lot with his last TO that was a bit embarrassing.

Wemby had some of those last season

Yeah, Steph can't be happy with his game tonight. I'm sure he'll treat it like a loss. The three was a big shot, but he really didn't play well to close the game out after we had a 6-8 point lead. Almost lost that whole lead. He needs to bounce back big next game.

His lack of shooting ability has always tempered my enthusiasm.
I'm slightly encouraged by the improved 3 point shooting albeit a limited sample
He shot 3 of 8 from 3 (37.5%) which is pretty good for him tbh.

How many games did manu have w similar rate of turnovers. Going to have to take the good with the bad w castle, especially if spurs keep racking up Ws. There are intangibles he just brings when on the court. Also 100% guarantee ft will pick up.

None. In 1275 total games (regular season + playoffs), only once did Manu have 8 turnovers and 4 times he had 7. He never had 9+ turnovers.

Really mixed game from Castle last night.

Balls of steel, but we cant be having games where the rare points/turnovers double double is achieved.

What's up with his ft shooting? I don't see anything wrong with his shot, but it doesn't fall.
