Game Thread Spurs vs Pacers (Fri 10/17/25) [7:00PM CDT]

Im always pleasantly surprised when keldon drives right and goes hard…i keep thinking he will miss…but this preseason he has been- money…

Despite getting a sprinkling of minutes tonight, I'm thinking Brant is not going to be getting any regular rotation minutes in October/November. Still some ways to go, some Austin time would be helpful.

100%, he is just not ready. Idk if that means G League or not but I can’t see him being in close games right now as things stand. Still banking on that huge potential though

I think I will judge Mitch (in part of course) in his ability to coach Wemby, on a human level, make him accept not doing all the stuff he ambitions to do and focus on more simple and LETHAL stuff where his size makes the biggest differences.
Which isn't by bringing the ball up or being the P&R ball handler all the freaking time lol

It looks like we're still in the "let's make Vic happy" phase and he still thinks about too many options when he gets the ball rather than a few go-to moves.

It's still early I know...
I absolutely agree.

Kevin Hart asked similar question to Wemby in the recent ice tub video on him doing the guards' stuff and too much 3s...

Wemby replied something along the line that he has been doing all these guards stuff, shooting 3s growing up, and people have been telling him otherwise (i.e. to focus on big man's game) but he will not. So don't think he gonna change his way now....

Is Biyombo officially the 15th man?
If Oly and Sochan aren't ready to start the season Micah Potter could be a lot more useful.
NBA experience as a 4, shot over 40% taking more than 35% of his shots from 3 at Wisconsin. I assume he's not 2-way eligible, but I'd much rather have him on a 2-way than Ingram.
Or shit even Umude. Both clearly more NBA potential than Ingram.
