if you swing for a Lauri trade (i dont see it happening), you keep Fox and you make a push this year and next season. then you move one of Fox/Lauri as wemby's deal comes up

That makes a ton of sense if you don't believe in Castle's shooting coming around and still makes decent sense if you do believe in his shot. Personally, I'm skeptical of his shot getting there.

So do it and let's try to make that window start this year.

george hill was also beloved and traded and it was subterfuge. Castle should have never been off limits. drafting harper meant they could do the unimaginable and trade a promising guard for a position of need. or trade down off harper. Greed may have clouded their eyes.

I followed this guy last season and the previous offseason. He always claimed to have sources and knew what the Spurs were "thinking" and what moves they were going to make. None of them ever materialized. Needless to say, I don't follow him any more. lol

The market for Fox is actually already on life support. Nobody wants to import a 60 million guard with no size. Hes not in Ja territory but he’s not not in Ja territory. It’s just a difficult profile to move. And his contract has a few miles left on it to say the least.

Spurs would have to be getting an insane return back and I'm not talking Markannen who I don't think will look all that great as a third option on a winning team, or even a second option. 6'7" initiators who are also uber athletic and high end defenders don't grow on trees.
