Game Thread Spurs @ Pacers (Mon 10/13/25) [6:00PM CDT]

Anyone else getting Devin Brown flashes fro Umudie with a headband?

He looks like ass. The baskets he made were low percentage fadeaways and one fast break layup.
His stroke looks beautiful, but I just don’t get the fascination with taking harder than needed shots.

Ingram and Minix, stinking up the 2-way roster :st-lol:

Man if they can replicate this kind of performace in the regular season we’re in for the best offense in the league this season.

these charity minutes being given to these scrubs at the expense of djg minutes 👎

I am extremely impressed and excited with our roster. We have a nice blend of vets and youth.
This. Harper looks legit, Castle looks like he's ready to be our #3 option, and we've added some nice vets/pieces and coaches. LFG!!!

oh yeah :st-lol:

forgot you werent a big carter bryant fan during the draft
I’ll be a fan of someone that deserves it, tbh. I didnt know who the hell djg was, and he’s earning my fandom. Carter’s not really showing much to get all the praise thus far. He’d easily get it if he was showing anything noteworthy.

Is there a team in the past go undefeated in the preseason and end up having a great season including the playoffs?

Nice game overall, Castle on the mic at the end so he's probably fine. Wemby needs to find his limits this year so I can forgive the turnovers. Harper is the truth. It is going to be a fun year for Spurs fans.

Quick takeaways:
Wemby is on another level conditioning wise.
Castle's shot looks way better, I'd also say his passing was good.
Harper will be too good for bench minutes in no time.
Devin isn't helping his case at all.
Champagnie's stock has risen the most during this preseason.
Keldon is also looking better.
Kornet will probably have a case for the best backup big in the league.
Barnes has been by far the worst player out of regular rotation members.

Spurs win! :st-elephant:

We comin' for that preseason banner

Yes, Wemby's conditioning issues are a thing of the past. It looked to be the case in previous games but it seems confirmed now. Love to see it.

if anybody needed affirmation that Carter Bryant will spend time in Austin to start the year:

spurs treated this like a dress rehearsal of sorts, played only an 8 man rotation (Fox/Sochan/Olynyk missing), and still didnt give a minute to Bryant with the main guys. its probably better for him anyway, but nice to see him knock in multiple 3's again

I know people don't care about the NBA Cup but I bet the Spurs will win it.
