Game Thread Spurs @ Pacers (Mon 10/13/25) [6:00PM CDT]

Kornet's face after that made shot was fucking hilarious. Full of wonder and amazement.

With Fox and Olyneck back, don't see how Sochan carves out a role, we too deep

Luke Kornet has that sense of humor that's going to be a locker room asset during tough stretches as he lightens up the mood. His personality is like a basketball attribute almost, guys will anchor from his grounding mood and charisma

Does it look like Wemby has some scars on his right shoulder? Maybe a procedure in the offseason?

Keldon got the memo that this might be a make or break season for him with the team. Hopefully Vassell gets the same memo.

HB will probably be his old self within a few weeks which can still be helpful but watching Vassell is frustrating
Yeah, but what is his old self? Harrison came into last season as a sub-38% career shooter, shot 43.3%. He's only shoot above 39.5% twice, 14'-15 (on 2.6 attempts) and 24'-25'.
If he regresses to the mean of 38% he brings a lot less value to the SL than he brought last yr.
He's been a good 3pt shooter for his career, last yr was the only time he's ever been a great one.

well 38% is still elite among the Spurs ...

We can go toe to toe with pacers. No haliburton though.

That's so hilarious the NBA scheduled KD to be in the house to watch OKC get their rings

Man I like Kornet. I wish the Spurs had a decent power forward because I want Victor playing the three.

Those Kornet/Sochan lineups are going to be something. Interesting if nothing else.

Finally wemby attacking the rim and getting to the foul line.

I was thinking the same thing. Watching these preseason games I don't see how Sochan get's worked into any lineups unless there is an injury.
If he shoots in real life like his Instagram posts...

This comment shouldn't go overlooked. You are spot on. If not reminded in this thread, I'd not have even remembered he was on the roster. He's absolutely superfluous at this point.
