Why was Fox acting so passive tonight?

Thought for a moment there in the 2nd we were going to get a Fox explosion, then he went passive and started making some terrible decisions. A really subpar game from him after it looked like he was going to go off. My guess is he’s still figuring out how to mesh with these guys, since he missed all of training camp. He’s not had a ton of practice time with this team, going back to last season.
