Game Thread Spurs (7-2) @ Bulls (6-3) (Mon 11/10/2025) [7:00PM CDT]

Im going to withhold judgement on mitch tho’
It seems he had some bad shooters on the floor- no matter who he tried…(and holee fuck those bull sharpshooters?)
Maybe some fatigue…

But mitch might have coaxed that 4th qtr grit and wemby arose to the challenge to bail everyone out which is what can happen when you have “that” guy on your team…

Our Hall of Fame coach, widely trusted by many, had a strong admiration for Bryn Forbes, even comparing him to Reddick and Curry. He also showed a lot of love for Sochan, going as far as trying to turn him into a point guard. I suppose what I'm saying is that an all-world Hall of Fame talent can really mask a coach's flaws, can't it?

That loss against Suns was not as bad it seemed back then. They are frisky and Booker is having hot start to the season

It was the same game as this one, we just let them take as many wide open 3pts as they wanted.

That big lineup with Luke/Vic really worked. Let's see more of that.

Good analysis...he's currently 41st in points, 6th in Assists, 4th in steals, and 60th in Rebs and being talked about as a top-tier defender by the media.
That very much sounds like a top30 player in the league.
No chance at all the reigning ROY putting up those numbers has a shot to be thought of top-24/AS guy, especially if only 8 of those spots can go to international players but maybe 10-12 could deserve it.
No chance.

10 games in… If he continues this level of play and the team continues to win, is Steph Castle an All-Star?
Legit chance atm
Are there the same amount of guards and Bigs than before with the new ASG?

It's doable if Spurs stay top3 and Castle keeps dropping every observer jaws tbh

Losing to suns and lakers only after the first 10 games is not bad. Hell, they nearly won against the Lakers too. Just need to get a top 3 west seed at worst when it’s all said and done.

Don't think there's positional requirements, but its gonna be 16 US vs 8 international...that could help cuz the 5 best players are all international plus Senguin, Murray, Paolo, Avdila, Lauri, Barret, Embiid, Zubac, Wagner, Siakam and Sabonis could all have a case by then. Mathurin was looking like an AS before he got hurt. Half of the top 30 this season may be international, but limited to just 8 AS slots.

that depends, does he play for the lakers? then no.

I actually think that lakers game is probably the most important game of the season cause they are playing really good right now, the spurs played pretty bad all game and still had a chance to win in the end. That is the mark of a good team, that even when they play like shit it's still a 50 50 game at the end.
