Game Thread Spurs (7-2) @ Bulls (6-3) (Mon 11/10/2025) [7:00PM CDT]

having fox back makes me feel better about this game. And with Wembys recent struggles Wemby is also probably ready to show that he can handle the double team. Even though I know it will be a season long adjustment.

It's going to be interesting to see who will be the primary defender against Wemby. Do the Bulls go the traditional route and have Vucevic guard him? Or will they try sticking a smaller guy on him, maybe Okoro?

:st-flag:
Either way, we need to exploit Vucevic. He's too slow for Wemby and if they put him on a forward, we need to attack him over and over again.
He's still their best weapon on offense and if we make him work on defense, he won't be as effective.

If Giddey is out, this should be an easy win, no excuses.

I wonder how the main players on the team play in road games vs home games. Which is the best website/s to look up these stats? Can anyone give me a list of sites they use for this kind of stuff?

Didn't realize the Bulls have beaten us 6 straight. We played them 3 times in Wemby's rook year for some odd reason.

Coby White, Andre Drummond, Zac Lavine and Vooch have been the consistent killers against us, only one of them is playing tomorrow. We can do this!
Emirates Cup non Vegas team game. There are 4 teams from each conference that advance to Vegas for the knockout rounds, leaving 11 behind to schedule non Vegas games. Someone has to play cross conference.

I don't know how to show it for the entire team, but for individual players you can use this link. Then find another player and just click my name to show the different split metrics

Thanks a lot. I just checked it out and I looked at a few individual players on the team, and I was wrong about Julian. He's very similar on the road and at home.

Poor Giddey, that Hunter cross from last game that broke his ankles was absolutely filthy
Disagree. Too many fools are afraid in the pansy social media era to defend because they're scared of the poster/highlight and thus let people score with little effort to play D. One of the reasons D is non existent some games.

All the best defenders in NBA history have been dunk on or crossed over. All of them. Shit happens. Giddy >>> Hunter by a very large margin and 1 play doesn't suggest otherwise

Stars play well, road or home. That’s why they’re stars.

The key to winning road games, especially in the playoffs, are the support players. They almost always play well at home, and fade on the road. If your support players show out, you usually win the road game.

I recall seeing Kornet grimacing in pain with what looked like a shoulder injury. Never saw the supposed ankle injury. Damn, we could use him.
If the Spurs keep their heads on straight, I think we'll find a way to win. Wemby is due for a big scoring night soon. Defense has been solid, just hoping we can continue to generate open 3s and make some of them.

So far Chicago is agressively defending the 3 point line and they leave Vucevic pretty much helpless in the middle ... I doubt they will continue with this strategy against the Spurs

Wemby really needs to attack Vucevic tonight the times that he's guarding him. Vuce is a great offensive player, but he's slow-footed defensively and Wemby should attack early and often if he's on him tbh. I full expect Chicago to swarm Wemby too though, as all teams have been doing lately. Shooters need to be ready. Hopefully we're hitting from deep tonight.

Preach,mang.

That's what has been working for other teams and it's a copycat league, so I'm betting it will be this.
it's a lot more difficult if they have to guard Fox and Wemby though. If you want to put your best wing defender on Wemby, then who's guarding Fox?

This is going to be so exciting! I’m hoping for freezing cold weather, just to catch Sean at his grumpiest. I can’t wait for another thrilling come-from-behind victory by the Spurs. The Chicago Bulls have been surprisingly and annoyingly resilient this season. Longtime Coastal Bend fan relocated to the Houston area. I’ve been a Spurs fan since the Bruise Brothers poster.
Supposedly 12-16 inches of snow there today. Sean will be miserable 😂

Hopefully castle and wemby can knock down the open 3s today.
Wemby I'm just hoping he doesnt shoot more than 3.

I think Barnes and Champ need to be hitting from 3. The last 2 games they killed them. Need to see it travel on the road and this will be a good test, especially if they follow the leader and aggressively double Wemby.

Castle just needs to hit one of the 3 a game he has to take because the shot clock is low and he's left open.
