Game Thread Spurs (62-19) vs Nuggets (53-28) (Sunday 4/12/26) [7:30PM CDT]

I’m legitimately in complete shock whenever we actually manage to get a stop. Every single time just feels like guaranteed points.

As annoying as this is realize 90% of the shit they are doing on this penetration they can’t get away with with Victor on the floor

RIGHT. Finals odds are low either way, so the difference isn't overall meaningful. Thats literally what I've posted several times in this thread.
But also, to get back to matchups importance to titles, SA probably doesnt have the 2007 title if the Warriors don't get Mavs in the first round. That Mavs team in 2007 was a bad matchup for the Spurs, but the Spurs were a horrific matchup for Utah and Cleveland. When it breaks that way for a top level team it can mean the difference between championship or not.

If the Spurs didn't care about this game none of the regular rotation would be in still tbh.

I think this is a fair point, but the counter point is that if they really cared about winning it they would have played a center.

Jokic only played 18 minutes and spurs stull down by double digit? Whats going on?
