Game Thread Spurs (62-19) vs Nuggets (53-28) (Sunday 4/12/26) [7:30PM CDT]

If THIS is who the Spurs actually are then they were never going to beat OKC either way so honestly I don't see why people are freaking out either way.

The Spurs either are good enough to win the title or their not (and frankly as a young team with no playoff experience thats probably a no) but if they are its ONLY because of Wemby's dominance so yeah with him not out there and them not trying the team is not going to look as good. But either way, if your opinion of the Spurs chances changes based on this game you are wrong.
You're seriously underestimating matchup importance to who wins titles. OKC doesn't have a dominant interior player like Jokic and has guys who don't shoot the 3 well. That makes them tailor made for the Spurs to beat as Wemby can maximize as an interior defender against OKC best offensive abilities.

Nuggets have a guy to challenge Wemby and keep him occupied while also having an elite guard and more shooters. Just a tougher matchup, and I want this Spurs team in the WCF on their first run.

Ok, so then the finals odds for the Spurs are going to dramatically shift after this game, right? We are both posing different hypothesis and there is a pretty easy way to test them, right? So we can double check this.
