I honestly don’t think they expected to be up 40 in the 1st half. I think it was going to be 10 mins per half. Thats when the plan changed and I’m sure he was like “oh shit”.

Everybody could tell this game was over half way through the 1st quarter. Mitch could have adjusted then.

The most annoying and nonsensical move by Mitch is when he has Wemby starting the fourth quarter only to pull him around 6 minutes mark and then bring him back with 3 mins-- a critical juncture where games gets decided by opposing teams stars and best lineups. He should scrap that rotational gimmick for the playoffs

It’s a weird rotation and I don’t fully agree with it but you do realize Wemby’s conditioning isn’t the best right? He gets gassed really easily. Part of it is his size and part of it is that he also plays hard on both ends combined with his size. Until he somehow fixes his conditioning his rotation will always be unique and inconsistent.

They just beat Suns without him and Spurs will hopefully do them a solid by beating them too next game, so that's 4-game margin to work with. Next game is suddenly a must-win for us
