Kicking this one off early. Late start tomorrow on the west coast. Looks like Lakers will be at full strength as they rested Luka and Reaves last night so they'd be ready to play the Spurs tomorrow. Nationally televised game. Hope our guys show up and show out.

Probably won't be able to watch this one live.
Hopefully the Suns beatdown was a clear message to our guys.
 
So is this game only on ESPN? With YouTube TV fucking around and removing ABC/ESPN because of their little dispute I guess I won't be able to watch this one
 
Taking off the Spurs hat for a moment, I have to say it's going to be fascinating to watch what LeBron does this year when he returns. He'll be 41 in two months and he's obviously got some youth and depth at his disposal, and should embrace that aggressively. If I was his agent, advisor, or coach, I'd be telling him that this should be his 2014 Tim Duncan moment. He doesn't need to lead the team in scoring anymore to win. His role should be high end uber experienced glue guy.

Bummer. Would've been nice to have him back against a very good Lakers team. Guess we're going to be getting heavy Jordan McLaughlin minutes tomorrow night. Sigh.
 
Need Fox and Kornet back for this one. Would also be great if LeBron returns to disrupt everything the Lakers got going on. I'm quite sure they are worse with LeGM than without him.

Yep, looks like we'll be sailing the high seas for this one.

In addition to the YouTubeTV/ABC spat, I learned yesterday that my Disney/Hulu/ESPN bundle also doesn't give me access to live ESPN... you need some other, special bundle for that. Maybe cable wasn't so bad...
 
Late game will be brutal for me due to #life, might miss most of this. Hoping to wake up in the morning with confidence that 5-0 wasn't a fluke :st-flag:

oh wow i never realized that. i just have disney and was thinking about whether the bundle was worth. if the ESPN part of the bundle doesnt even give you live ESPN, then wtf :st-lol:
 
Lakers beat a Portland team (which looked solid so far) without playing Luka or Reeves. Luka is unstoppable currently ... expect to Wemby fall for his ballfakes and get into foul trouble if they meet in the paint. Lets see if Wemby has a bounceback game in him or if his gas tank is already empty.
