Game Thread Spurs (5-1) @ Lakers (6-2) (Wed 11/05/25) [9:00PM CDT] on ESPN

I'm not sure what is up with Wemby but he needs to get his head out of his ass and start playing like a big man again

Fuck the loss, I hate the Lakers but it's just a RS game on the road.

It's the form and the countless signs of deep issues this team have that are upsetting and worrisome for this season, even with Fox.

This roster doesn't make any sense, doesn't fill any need for Wemby or for today's game and is coach by a useless nepo baby.

Good team game when ref took control and Victor was off his game. Horrible product for the NBA with the fouls.

The highest IQ player on the team without Fox is the rookie tbh

But ya, that's got to be one of the ugliest games of basketball I think I've ever seen

Dylan Harper's ROY stock rose after a game like this.

That was a game you just knew they were gonna lose. Second game in a row where Vic just had nothing going. There were a lot of minutes with no PG, let alone Castle who played a terrible PG today. Can't wait until fox and Harper are back
Oh I thought Vasselline looked great at PG, was only hoping Sockhand could get some of those duties.

remind me again why we signed DJG?

ill be frank, i couldnt watch much of the first half... but i dont understand why people here are upset with Castle. he and barnes were the only ones who were consistently giving the lakers issues

yeah Castle had 6 TOs but this is what happens when somebody who is not a true point is thrust into those duties. its going to be sloppy. his shot wasnt falling but he willed his way to the line and defended his ass off

I don't know who this 7'5" French dude is but it's not the same guy we saw in preseason or the first week of the regular season. Outplayed by Deandre fucking Ayton...embarrassing.

What is up is we don’t have another player drawing defense. Fox solves a lot of that.

If I were the Lakers I wouldn’t be too proud of this win. Spurs played like absolute shit and should have lost by 20

champ wemby and castle combined for 15 TOs... mindblowing
Castle is not a PG and he has been forced into that role he is a guy that can be a secondary ball handler to get your primary a breather. He should be in the SG role with Fox at the PG with Harper as backup PG but injuries to Fox and Harper has Castle having to be full time PG. I am not sure what you expect but it is not shocking he has more turn overs having to play high minutes as the defacto PG

The most foul calls in an NBA game since Nov 1997... how do these "officials" get hired???? lol this was a trash loss nonetheless

tbh I rather Wemby return back to last year jacking 8.8 3s per game.

That version is still better than the current version

He was making Point Sochan level mistakes

The horrible turnovers and shitty rebounding was gross. But despite all that, Wemby had a handful of uncontested shots right at the rim and he bricked them all or was looking for FTs. That's the ball game right there.

Fox is the closer on this team until I see otherwise tbh.

Harper is the true heart of this team. Kidding! Well... kinda kidding lol

What an ugly game with over 65 personal fouls. 3 Spurs fouled out.

i watched an hour and a half behind and caught up to live action with Champagnie getting fouled to potentially tie the game

skipping free throws, timeouts, reviews
