Game Thread Spurs (46-17) vs Rockets (39-23) (Sun 03/08/26) [7:00PM CDT]

Spurs rebounding still an issue + 50/50 ball tip outs by the Spurs are going right to the Rockets.
Lost the rebounding battle… yet won by 25. How many times do I hafta tell you guys it’s all by design 😈

Clutchfans: Wemby learned early in his career that you gotta learn how to flop to be a superstar.

Meanwhile Sengun over here shamelessly throwing elbows

Spurs have surely lapped the Rockets.. Adams & FVV aren't changing that for Houston. It all boils down to them not getting a top tier blue chipper from years of tanking. It's not all about luck; they have whiffed on at least a couple of picks.

Imagine drafting Reed Sheppard over Stephon castle

Boston will be tougher and great test vs the potential finalists from the East

I think it’s time tbh… victor is the 25-26 mvp and it is not particularly close
MVP is an offense award, many people won't see what Wemby does on the defensive side plus Shay and Joker are still putting crazy numbers with very high efficiency

Hoping Plumlee gets some minutes whether garbage time or regular playing time. Biyombo doesn’t need to be in there.

Sengun is like that star high school athlete who is great until you realize he has fat toes.

Damn this team is insane ever since putting Champ in the starting lineup
Sometimes fit matters on that stuff knowing your role and doing your job he hustles hard he not a great defender (adequate one) but he always gives effort on defense and he has been a solid rebounder. He does not go hunting for shots he takes the open shot. You got to love good role players you need guys like him to get the ring

I think what I love most about this team is how flawed I thought this roster would be, yet they’re playing nearly unstoppable right now…and it looks fairly sustainable

The three headed guard rotation is just putting so much pressure on defenses having three guys able to get into the paint and if one has an off night the other two pick up the slack we almost always have two of them on the floor at a time
