I don’t disagree. But Fox is getting paid like a superstar (bad decision by front office).i dont get the fox hate. He’s trying to give the keys to victor and castle to take over games. Just look at his fga he’s not taking too many shots. He understands that he’s not the superstar of this team.
Fox and castle were bad. also champ and vassell going back to earth.I thought that Victor’s 7 turnovers and going 1 for 6 from three…… set the tone
I didn't really watch the game closely when I was watching (I guess the time it was on, not used to seeing a game at this time in the morning and was busy) and I think it was the first time this season I turned it off halfway through the 4th quarter.Depends if Mitch decides to give Maxey the Brunson treatment and put Castle on him the first 6 minutes of the game, and then only play him when Maxey subs out.

The last 3 minutes of the first quarter set the tone for the rest of the game. The offense completely went to sleep, nobody was making open shots and frankly, we were taking a lot of really bad shots. Victor was in a pretty good offensive rhythm for portions of the game, but he had the turnovers. Our guards had no offensive rhythm the entire game. It was just very ugly.I thought that Victor’s 7 turnovers and going 1 for 6 from three…… set the tone
Yes, that almost felt like Jalen was going really bad and the referees decided to step in to get him going. That was atrocious that call. The game changed after that bullshit foul call on Harper tbh.
While shooters were landing on the defenders foot, I get it. It’s a problem, but the new rule is a disaster. You basically can’t aggressively contest jump shooters anymore because of that rule. And as we saw, it’s left up to the interpretation of the referee if it’s a flagrant violation of said rule. I wish they would get rid of it.Reffing in general, regardless of what two teams are playing, has been absolutely unacceptable. When there is no standard, they can just arbitrarily call something a foul because they feel like it.
When Javie admitted he didn’t understand the call, that should tell you everything about the state of reffing right now. I hope the league takes a good long look at why there’s no league wide standard being held. Your average fan should be able to understand what and why on these fouls.
Yeah, especially what you said at the end. There are some grays in reffing, that’s fine. But eliminate as much gray area as possible. It feels like EVERY call is up for interpretationWhile shooters were landing on the defenders foot, I get it. It’s a problem, but the new rule is a disaster. In a recent game, Fox got fouled hard and was obviously angry about it. During several minutes after that foul, he played aggressively and with the results one should expect from a superstar player. I can’t remember what team the Spurs were playing. I wish Fox could summon that kind of focus and performance without having to first be roughed up.I don’t disagree. But Fox is getting paid like a superstar (bad decision by front office).
Fox is essentially playing off the ball. How is that the front offices fault?I don’t disagree. But Fox is getting paid like a superstar (bad decision by front office).
I thought the momentum really swung when they missed an obvious goal tend on Keldon, then we gave up that 5 point play after Mitch Robinson missed 2 FTs and Wemby failed to secure the rebound. The game changed after that bullshit foul call on Harper tbh.
It was not the refs fault yes that was some bad calls but the team did not respond they started making bad shot selections which led to missing wide open shots, out rebound and hustled to lose balls and the amount of dumb turn overs had nothing to do with the refs. They just got their arse kicked it is simple Knicks showed up the Spurs did not show up. They were taken out back to the woodshed nothing but their own fault.Everyone realizes we weren't going undefeated the rest of the way, right? As soon as the refs took over, I knew it was game over. Oh wellIt
Are the Knicks becoming a lite version of the pampered Warriors? Must have Knicks not only in playoffs but higher seeded?Yes, that almost felt like Jalen was going really bad and the referees decided to step in to get him going. That was atrocious that call.
Yeah, the Spurs didn't respond well. The refs were responsible for a complete momentum shift early that seemed to completely change the game though. It was not the refs fault yes that was some bad calls but the team did not respond they started making bad shot selections which led to missing wide open shots, out rebound and hustled to lose balls and the amount of dumb turn overs had nothing to do with the refs. The Spurs just need to play better next game
denver out of sorts , Cam Johnson sux ass, horrible trady. Im worried about Minny, Okc, and NYC in playoffs if we get that far. We match up well with the restBig, physical, veteran teams are our kryptonite now
Denver, Minnesota are not ideal matchups until we learn how to beat them
I guess we'll see about Denver, and soon
If Jokic and Gordon get healthy Denver absolutely is a horrible matchup for the Spurs tbh, maybe even their worst possible matchup.denver out of sorts , Cam Johnson sux ass, horrible trady. Im worried about Minny, Okc, and NYC in playoffs if we get that far. We match up well with the rest
