Game Thread Spurs (42-16) @ Nets (15-42) (Thur 02/26/26) [6:30 PM CST]

Probably just wants to keep medical stuff as private as he can. Once you open the can of worms by answering 1 question perhaps the thought is that will only result in more invasive questions.

Either way, if you've seen him with no shirt/jersey on you can see a visible scar just below his right clavicle which would indicate a surgery was performed. The podcast taping he did with Kevin Hart in June at the Fanatics event in NYC was when I noticed the scar.
Thank you! I had to go take a look, and two things became evident:
1) I'm going blind, I had to squint real hard to see anything :p
2) You're right, there seems to be a small scar in his right shoulder:

You've been more helpful that literally the entire sports media :ROFLMAO:

I love Wemby but he’s just gotta push through.

he’s not playing huge minutes, had damn near a week off between games minus ASG, has played a pretty reasonable schedule post ASB with one tough team and one b2b. No sign of injury which would be the only way I’d sit him right now, a vague “he’s tired” isn’t good enough for a player of his level
Wemby is fine. The ball is finding the best shot in the hands of Champ, Vassell plus plenty of offense from other guys. As long as Wemby’s protecting the rim, and creating havoc to opponents with his help defense, the Spurs would be dangerous.

11 is my favorite number. Spurs have a perfect 11-0 record for the month.

GO SPURS GO

Told my gf (she watches games here and there, but isn't nearly as invested as I am) that the Spurs went undefeated in February, and her response was "maybe they just felt really inspired to win because it's Black History Month". LMAO

Looked up March and apparently it's Women's History Month. C'mon, Spurs! Do it for the ladies!

Didn’t get to watch but not loving these comments on Wemby again. He’s got 2 days rest + no travel for next game, if he just needs a rest now’s the time to get it.

Gonna hold judgement until Sunday
These are a lot of the same people that took sides against Parker and Ginobili for 2 decades while the Spurs ran off 4 titles.

The best way to treat several of the posters here, and it becomes pretty obvious which ones, is like they're 12 years old with mental developmental deficiencies. Pat them on the head and say "sure thing little buddy" then move on.

Just win.. If on Sunday he is bad and we lose.. Okay fine some arrows can come his way.. But still this season has been a dream thus far... Wemby is just fine...

Man, as much as we give the team their flowers here (well most of us lol), it's really underselling just how good they are playing. #2 Offense AND #3 Defense??? That is just crazy.

It bears repeating in the face of complaints about Wemby and Fox (I'm guilty there). The team has stepped the fuck up on the defensive end, is clearly trusting each other much more to work off Wemby's strengths, and it's translating into top-of-the-league offensive prowess.

One thing I'd like to see numbers on is their half-court vs transition offensive numbers - that's a good indicator as to how well the O will translate to the playoffs. The Pistons game had a lot of that and they played quite well, but obviously not as good as when they're turning steals or blocks into Harper or Castle dunks, or Champ/HB/Devin corner 3's.
