Damn, it looks like Houston will win their game tonight.
Do we have the worst 3rd stringers in the league? Feels like the final score is always closer than the game suggests thanks to these guys.
It's actually the opposite, they're so valuable that the Spurs are about the only team in the league who won't consider moving them trying to improve. Most untouchable 3rd stringers in the league.Do we have the worst 3rd stringers in the league? Feels like the final score is always closer than the game suggests thanks to these guys.
Quiet night at the boxscore, but most importantly -- 26 minutes, which means another game in the bag en route to his well-deserved DPOY [and possible MVP.....].

He’ll be ready for Sunday against the Knicks. He's had a few stinkers in a row.
This. Or ben wallace and camby.tbhVictor "Gobert" Wembanyama TBH
How sure are you that he's not going to suck again? LmaoHe’ll be ready for Sunday against the Knicks.
C'mon man, this was the most important win of the season!!!!Didn't game thread this one... clean, easy victory. Sunday will be fun.
Not going to bother going through the game thread, you can summary for me... how much wrist cutting and calling our players trash was there because we didn't lead by 50 wire to wire?C'mon man, this was the most important win of the season!!!!
It's just tough with him being so close to missing the 65-game cutoff. It's not like you can give him a rest game or two right now and just assume he won't miss any further games until the season's over.Didn’t get to watch but not loving these comments on Wemby again. He’s got 2 days rest + no travel for next game, if he just needs a rest now’s the time to get it.
Gonna hold judgement until Sunday
I kept it all under control, worry notNot going to bother going through the game thread, you can summary for me... how much wrist cutting and calling our players trash was there because we didn't lead by 50 wire to wire?

Sucks, but it's also a good reason to get the consecutive games out of the way ASAP. He's got what, 4-5 games of "cushion"? He'll use the rest games much better on games #80-82 once his DPOY is secured tbh
We'll see how the seeding shakes out closer to the end of the season - I'd rather Wemby get some games off if at all possible, he's been looking tired AF the past few games, and our schedule isn't all that easy the rest of the way.No business giving him rest games if we're within a game or two of OKC. If we secure the top seed or fall back by then then yeah
Probably just wants to keep medical stuff as private as he can. Once you open the can of worms by answering 1 question perhaps the thought is that will only result in more invasive questions.I remember reading news about him from different sources, but no official confirmation from Wemby himself or the Spurs. This is like a broken telephone, where people assume and say things they do not know for a fact. Take this excerpt, for example:
San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama is recovering from deep vein thrombosis in his right shoulder. It's unclear whether the French sensation underwent surgery, but ESPN's Brian Windhorst said on the latest episode of The Hoop Collective podcast that he did.
- Brian Windhorst: "Victor Wembanyama had surgery to get rid of the blood clot."
- Michael C. Wright: "He's not telling us that. We definitely point-blank asked him during the end-of-season interviews, and he wouldn't say whether or not he had surgery."
- Brian Windhorst: "Well, I'll leave that alone for now, but I thought he had surgery to like fix the rib or something. But OK, I'm not gonna step in anything that I can't step out of, so I'll just leave it alone with that."
If he did have surgery... why not come out and say so? sounds strange to me.
We're gonna finish 1st, so we need the Rockets to finish 4th.That's not bad news... I'd much rather have Houston as the 3rd seed and possibly face them in the 2nd round, than Denver or Minnesota.
