Spurs will face the Nets on a B2B in search of their 11th consecutive win. Nets are on a 5-game losing streak, and seemed to purposely throw their last game against Atlanta in the 4th quarter.

Shout-out to @LeBowen, much appreciate the game thread blueprint. This is my first ever game thread started on both ST and BB, so needless to say, the team better take care of business tonight. Let's fucking go!!!

Just to kick it off - I'm weirdly superstitious about watching the Spurs, despite obviously not really "buying into it". I try and put on the same t-shirt for every game we play - a white tee with a huge "SAN ANTONIO SPURS" written in Times New Roman on its chest; my wife had it made for me as a gift, but the print shop didn't quite get the memo that font size was supposed to be small and detailed, and just blasted whatever they wanted on it :st-lol: which made it all the more special, of course, I couldn't give it back!

Do any of y'all have some weird game rituals? Whatever you've been doing, it's been working, so you best not fucking miss it tonight lmao

Game is tomorrow my dude. FIFY though

:vic-cheers:

I got nothing to say other than we absolutely cannot lose to a team that is trying to lose to themselves. And that Im really hoping Denver clutches out Friday and we can end the month undefeated sitting in 1st place (edit: nvm OKC will have most wins wah). GSG

Are we going to do like 2010 and win all those big games only to lose on the road to the ghastly Nets one of the worst teams in basketball?

Let's hope the Spurs can put this game away early. Perfect trap game after a 10 game winning streak.

Not a huge Mitch fan for now, but I'd be more worried about it with a prime Popovich coaching. We always seemed to lose those types of games with him.

Dylan's Homecoming Weekend, tbh. Mom's serving up home cooking and Victor's got a chess game to recharge.🗽

I know Mitch won’t do it, but if I were him, I would sit Castle, Wemby, and all those guys who are a little banged up and give guys like Harper and Carter Bryant some extended burn, confident that the team will win regardless.

No way he’s sitting Wemby with the game requirement. No way any fan should think of this regarding Wemby also tbh.

Wemby himself is not taking any chances with awards eligibility now that he is closing in on 65 (only need to play 20 out of last 24 games)..Once he hits the threshold, I could see him getting rested in that penultimate game vs Dallas before suiting up for Denver in Game 82 (our last 4 games are at home). I'm loving the fact that we'll likely be still playing for homecourt advantage throughout (WCF & Finals) until possibly the very last game of the season so we would have to stay sharp down the stretch..
