Meh.
He was mostly playing within the flow. His FG% went down with a couple immature 3s, trying to answer Flagg and trying to pad the stats as the game became a blowout - basketball gods checked him.
He’s still playing like a guard in the paint too much. Bringing the ball down to draw contact, fights like a Big for an offensive board, then reverts to a guard trying to kick-out instead of just dunking the ball…
He’s so gifted that it’s hard for some to appreciate him being good when there are simple things that would really make him great, consistently.
He gets a lot of credit for his maturity, but I feel that’s more-so off the court. He’s still pretty immature on, imo.
The playoffs will really help to speed up that process. Make him realize what truly matters for him to win games on the biggest stage with this team.
