Teams that lose a key player can have a stretch of wins tbh with everybody getting involved (see Spurs sans Victor, Denver sans Jokic...) but usually not very sustainable. So I would not call it embarrassing if we happen to lose, it's a blow for OKC but they have very good and talented players in dat roster, more touches for Chet etc...

yep.. it is not like their 1st seed is at risk anyway, I'd do the same. I think OKC is happy with where they stand in terms of match up, we won 3 but they won the last game with authority. For this game, a L would be normal, the rest of the roster will be with 0 pressure unlike the Spurs for which this game becomes a must win

Very, very interesting, and I was about to say something similar. I could be wrong, but I think they've sat all those guys so they don't lose confidence against the Spurs if they lose again. I think they want to finish with that last win against the Spurs having confidence against them if they matchup in the playoffs. Loser move from the Thunder IMO.
