He was never as great as the commentors, Spurs Twitter (X now) or people like Sean Elliott made him out to be. Aside from Jordan, no rookie was ever as good at getting to the rim as they were hyping Harper to be. Reality was bound to give you all some perspective. Fox and Castle shot a combined 8/30 tonight… Most the blame goes on them tbh.

We’re the worst 3PT shooting team in the NBA since Christmas. That’s the real issue with our team. We can nit-pick everything else all we want, but the reality is we have a team that can’t shoot the ball right now. That’s why we keep losing games.

They had a 19-point lead, 14 going into the fourth and shot the three the best they have in a while tbh. This is on Mitch not making adjustments and sitting Wemby to start the fourth imo; also on Mitch being ass at out-of-timeouts plays in the clutch.

If team superstar is on minutes restriction plus our best wing defender not playing, things like this will happen. Their bigger picture is to keep Wemby health for playoffs.

I want us in playoffs with wemby healthy. The world gotta see his brilliance and Spurs brilliance.

Very real issues with Fox Castle Harper. Not just a little funk. 12-14 games now of truly awful offense. And the team shrunk when MIN upped their intensity which is very disappointing.

The trio has stunk for 3 weeks already. I don't think I have saw anyone from the Timmy-Manu-Tony big 3 era who has hit the "rookie/sophomore" wall for so long. This is definitely unprecedented.

As for Fox.....Fox has a few bounce back game but he will immediately bounce off again after the bounce back game His Max contract will only kick in next season....He is 28 years old and I think safe to say that he is still quite inconsistent, compared to his days at Kings. Not sure if the Max contract gonna look good when he hit the 30s
