Game Thread Spurs (25-11) vs Lakers (23-11) (Wed 01/07/26) [8:30PM CST] on ESPN

Harp-Fox-Castle really is a three-headed monster.
They're either awesome or terrible all at the same time.
They seem to be jacking up their shooting rhythm, looking for contact even after they've already beaten their man. They were getting calls, like somebody had phoned the league. No NO.... JUST TAKE IT TO THE HOLE

Did we time travel back to the 90s? lol not even cracking 50 at Half Time

All of these three-point misses it’s getting in their heads collectively at this stage honestly.

In other news, OKC having the Spurs' pick next year is looking worrisome tbh.

Let’s not act like Fox has been this bad all season. Revisionist history at its finest. Definitely a bad stretch for him though and I won’t argue against the criticism about it.
It's worse because the rest of the team also can't buy a bucket (except Keldon)

Old school, low scoring game but without the defense and just really bad shooting.

ROFL any other team would be up 15 on this Spurs team shooting 2-14 from the three point line

Should have been a blowout but there's a team-wide malaise right now.
Our guards and Barnes have to get out of this slump or this season's gonna snap back to ugly real fast.

Holding the Lakers to 43 points in the first half is something to clutch.

Even Champ’s shooting is trash tonight. Every player we consider a “shooter” on this team is trash from both midrange and 3. What is this??

When the Spurs finally start hitting threes again they're gonna go 40 year old virgin and hit 23 for 40 in a game.

I think it was a league wide change. Shai isn't getting as many calls lately either.

Dylan Harper hasn't been good for weeks now. Hopefully its just a rookie wall and he'll break out soon

They have it Top 16 protected only, so I wouldn’t worry too much about that one at least
