Game Thread Spurs (25-11) vs Lakers (23-11) (Wed 01/07/26) [8:30PM CST] on ESPN

I’m utterly baffled that Harper is being so passive and not at least trying to go to the basket, especially with seemingly half the Lakers in foul trouble.
Every time we drive the lakers collapse inside. We can't punish that so why would they stop?

The 3 guards are so bad because defenses are sagging off them now. Driving lanes arent there. We have to knock down shots to get defenses to play up which should open lanes again.

Unfortunately we are shooting 30% over the last 10 games from behind the arc.

Team really needs to make a move for shooting

Bad day if we lost to LAL today.

Rest of league:
OKC beat Jazz in OT
Nuggets beat Boston
Hawks beat Pelicans
Knicks beat LAC
And beating LA today will allow for more separation from them in the standings. SA and LAL are tied in the loss column ATM.

A Luke Kennard type would be such a smart move at the deadline.

LaRavia, Knecht, Vando, Smart just brick wide open 3s from Luka all game every game it seems. If they start hitting a few it’ll be tough.

Can we all admit Mitch Jonson fucked up the rotations since the Jazz..I don't understand these CB/Sochan cameos..
One thing i like about Mitch is that he's not afraid to make changes unlike Pop. So i'll allow it.

I'm fine with the CB minutes. Dude can at least play defense and has upside. Sochan is just a waste.

How will Mitch break up Wemby's 12:17 mins in the 2nd half?

i don't know, this castle-dylan-fox-barnes production, has me worried

Just run at these chuds. We already have the blueprint. Execute it.
