Game Thread Spurs (24-9) @ Pacers (6-28) (Fri 01/02/26) [6:00 PM CDT]

I just hope scott's favorite, Huff, doesn't have a career night.
1) Don't leave Huff open at the top of the 3pt line
2) Don't go at Huff weakly at the rim, he'll send that shit back

...
As for the Pacers, I haven't seen enough of them, but there must be something really wrong for that roster to be the worst team in the league.

Hint:
They might be doing a little strategic tanking, because they know with the Haliban out for the year, they ain't contending...

You can tank only so much. Having the worst record in the league isn't a coincidence.
Even if they tried, they'd still be a top5 worst team in the league.

Which is especially surprising when compared with the Celtics situation.
Haliburton/Tatum injured, Pacers lost Turner, but the Celtics lost their entire big rotation Porzingis/Horford/Kornet and yet the Celtics are the third seed right now.

Wemby has more important things to worry about (his health) than individual awards or even extra millions

I think with hali out and they see turner go the pacers really broadcast the intention to tank this year

That was clearly off on the Spurs, but LOL @ IND players lobbying for a challenge in a 2-0 ball game

Pacers won't even need McConnell, Spurs are still slumping hard tbh.

every games are the same, we cannot shoot threes and the other team knocks all theirs

Micah Potter in 4 minutes for IND has contributed as much as Bismack the entire season for us.
