Yeah, I really think Mitch didn't want to put him back in there if he could help it. Wizards pulled within 9 but then the Spurs opened up the lead again and it never became necessary.

That being said, he will play more minutes next 2 games.

Why bother? If we can help it, he should play just enough to stay in rhythm and aligned for the playoffs. Let Luke and the danged guards that are running around all over the place do the heavy lifting until it really gets to the big moments, since they seem capable of it.

Man, it is nice having so many guys who can put in work.

These two saved our bacon by bringing the professionalism and mental fortitude to a clear trap game. I know it’s the Wiz but this is the type of game we lost in the past because players were still feeling themselves from a nice outing the game before.

Yeah, that nonsense definitely needs to stop. 21-7 is obviously an excellent record, but you can’t be feeling yourself at this point. If this team when healthy has the potential to win 60+ games well do it. No excuses.
