That I can’t argue against the last two years. The spurs were essentially playing glorified street ball the last few years where there weren’t any coherent offensive or defensive structure, so role players, and sochan is as obvious a role player if there ever was one, provide little value.
Add to the fact the sochan is way below average in offence creation and street ball is just basically a bunch of one on ones, and sochan was useless.
This year though, and I’m hoping for the case, is that we are finally implementing some type of professional basketball plays, so role players will be able to do role player things, cut, screen, box out, defend, rotate, run the floor, etc. it depends on whether sochan is smart enough to fill those roles but if Vassell and keldon can, I think sochan can too.
