Guys, it's really not that hard, why can't you just look up numbers instead of just throwing random shit up with absolutely nothing to back up. It has been shown, time and again, Sochan is a way above average rebounder. To throw out random shit like these are "garbage boards" based on absolutely nothing is simply acting in bad faith, and going on about refusing to own up to your own stupid takes. It's almost like people are not only doubling down on their stupidity, but taking pride in out stupiding the next.
Sochan ranked 1st on the team in contested rebounding % (after Minix and Ingram who didn't play enough meaningful minutes to be ranked) at 44%, the next highest is Bassey and Wemby at 38.8% and 38.3%. His rebounding % is so much higher than 2nd place Bassey that the gap is the slightly more than the gap between Bassey and the #6 ranked KJ. In fact, of all the players in the league who played more than 10 mpg and played more than 20 games for the season, Sochan ranked 42 out of 408 players in contested rebounding % last year. Kornhub ranks #1 btw.
He is second on the team in deferred rebound changes at 1 per game (Wemby is #1 at 1.5) and given Wemby plays about 8 minutes (or about 33% more minutes than Sochan, that is really damned close. He's number 3 on the team in average rebounding distance (behind Bassey and Wemby) which means that these are tough close to the basket fought it out type of boards, and factoring in that he is #2 on the team in OREB % at 10% (behind Bassey at 15.9%), when OReb are ridiculously difficult and physical to get, there is ZERO basis to say that those are "garbage" rebounds.
Now are you going to continue to throw out uninforrmed, unresearched, baseless claims to show the world that you are lazy, has questionable basketball knowledge and holds zero objectivity, or are you actually going to educate yourself first, or at least find things to back your diarrhea?
