Hello there, very happy with the forum overall

I was just wondering, is it me or are there regularly timeouts, especially during games? I literally can't use the forum at all during games and even outside of them, the forum times out a lot.

Btw I understand bandwidth costs money, this is not a diss, just curious if it's just me or not. (I'm in Europe btw)
I haven’t experienced this at all.

I'm in Argentina and I haven't experienced this so far.

I think it's lost forever... I don't see anyway to get any details on it

Are we allowed to recreate it?

Don't even know why it was deleted in the first place.
Yeah of course. I don't know why or how it got deleted, unless I accidently merged it with another thread.

From my Chat Buddy:

XenForo does not have a true “unmerge” button.
Once you merge threads, all posts become a single chronological stream under one thread ID. After that happens:

  • The original thread IDs are gone
  • The post order is rewritten
  • Quoting, pagination, and internal links all get recalculated
  • Any later replies land in the merged thread, mixing everything further
You can manually split posts back out into a new thread, but that is not an “unmerge” — it’s a selective split, and it’s messy because:

  • You must manually choose which posts to move
  • The old thread structure cannot be automatically reconstructed
  • Users will see quotes pointing to posts that may now be in different threads
  • Chronology of discussion is already scrambled
Common practice among XenForo admins:
A merge is considered final unless done accidentally and caught immediately before anyone replies.

If you think you might need to reverse a merge, the usual pattern is:

  • Merge only when truly necessary
  • Leave a moderator note in the action log
  • Don’t merge large/active threads unless you’re 100% sure
  • If undone, do it immediately by splitting off posts that don’t belong
If you ever need help untangling a bad merge, I can walk you through a clean “triage and split” process.
