Giannis came back quickly from a hyperextended knee during the bucks’ championship run. I don’t think it’s out of the question. Ant is a pretty durable dude, but playing him in game 1, on the road, seems very aggressive.

Yes he would be on Champ or Barnes. What would be interesting is if Mitch goes with the 3 guard lineup with Keldon and Wemby. He wouldn't have anyone to hide on.

One of the most intriguing matchups in this series will be how Fox fares against a good and long defender like McDaniels. Also, who will be our guys' primary defender against Randle? Castle? Champ? Barnes and CB will probably also get this assignment for a bit.
Ant playing in either of the first two games would be a massive surprise to me.

Carter does a lot of high flying and I would imagine a foot sprain would seriously limit his movements. Hopefully he's all the way back soon.

That might be the worst choice they could make. Ju is a motion shooter, constantly looking for and using screens. He runs and runs, and runs some more. If Ant is even a second late, Ju gets an open look, and he’s kind of deadly with those. He could drop a 30 piece,

Having Ant play at this point would be a wild decision, unless I'm misunderstanding his injury woes. Maybe if the series goes to 5-7 games he could come back, but G1 no way the medical staff green lights that right? Spurs have 3 guards at the back that can force you to work hard to defend, be that keeping up with quick lateral movements, being bullied down low, or having to fight through screens and move quickly/get hit... that's a tall order for an injured player with two bad knees to go up against and you're just asking for trouble.
