Game Thread Playoffs Round 1, Game 3: Blazers vs Spurs (1-1) (Fri 04/26/2026) [9:30 CDT]

I have said it several times in the regular season. The game went downhill in the fourth quarter when the Spurs slowed down to run a bit of more clock down. They suck at this. Continue to push the pace. Much more difficult in a hot crowd such as Portland, but it should still help our offense.

Jacob Peotle came back from a concussion in 3 days for a regular season game. I think Vic comes back tomorrow for the playoffs.

Not much mention of Harper’s thumb given Wemby’s concussion… but it for sure is limiting him and will be an issue this entire playoff run. Should have taken the last regular season game more serious and maybe this shit doesn’t happen.

Going on the road without your star player as a young team can feel daunting but if they pull together and pull out a win, it can be something that benefits this team in the long run.

That's good information. Scoot's been playing well for a while, not just these two games. It's what I was thinking when I was talking about him the other day. He's looking good. I said I didn't think it's a fluke (his shooting), but I didn't look at any numbers. He's just playing with a confidence and I could see it. Spurs are really going to have to lock in on him.

Again, I don't believe he's a scrub. People are underestimating him. Spurs have to actually keep account of him and not let him get going.

Absolutely. Great observation. They really do tend to suck at it when trying to do this on purpose. Just keep playing full throttle and protect the ball, no turnovers.

No.
If he had a concussion he would've been taken to hospital and surely out for a couple of weeks.
He just entered the concussion protocol, which is a standard procedure whenever a serious blow to the head happens.

Oh ok. I thought Mitch said after the game it was a concussion. Well thats great news then. I went from him probably playing on Sunday to shit yeah he might play tomorrow!

it is very unlikely he plays tomorrow if he travels he will play game 4
 
Sounds like Wemby will push limits to try to play....wonder if he gets cleared by Spurs doc today with NBA doc looking at him tomorrow for clearance to play

Game 4 I think. Game 3 I doubt it.. We owe him 1.. And we have more than enough to win Friday without Wemby..

Would be dope (if he's actually good to go). I think they might hold him out Game 3 just to be safe and then let him go for Game 4 but we'll see.
