For all the talk of the Spurs lack of playoff experience... Pop's presence and influence is an underrated benefit for us. He's looking good here!
Man, Pop looks rough![]()
I'd ban whoever recorded Pop from the facility.
There's absolutely no need for a video of him in his current condition to be public.
Fucking ghouls doing everything for the sake of having an exclusive, but when it's time to actually get inside info about the roster moves, they're completely useless.
Pop's a 77 year old stroke victim... he looks fantastic here in those circumstances.Heartbreaking to see Pop like that, but glad he is still above ground and moving around! When life hits, it comes, and it will come to us all in some form.

yeah, not sure what people are expecting tbhHe looks fine...for a stroke survivor.yeah, not sure what people are expecting tbh
Bit of a creeper shot for sure, but it also shows he's made a lot of strides over the past year tbh.He looks fine...for a stroke survivor.
The reporter could've just taken a picture of him talking to Mitch instead of the video.

Sure, it’s still just a stark difference vs. the image of Pop we have in our head. It will happen to all of us and I’m not saying he’s in terrible shape - just weird seeing him like that IMO. Glad he’s feeling well enough to hang around the facility though and love that he’s there to help get the guys ready for the playoffs.Pop's a 77 year old stroke victim... he looks fantastic here in those circumstances.
Spurs playoffs with Larry Brown, John Lucas and Bob Hill weren't anything you missed out ongonna be weird to go into the POs and not see pop on the bench tbh.. I've never watched Spurs POs without Pop... crazy when I think about it
(actually the 1989-90 playoff run was awesome... I loved that team. I was also 11... so... I pretty much would have loved anything the Spurs rolled out... that was the second season I remember being old enough to care about basketball... was rooting hard for Cadillac Anderson just a year earlier)Yeah I can see your perspective... just knowing what he's been through (and the fact he is 77), I saw that video as a positive. That's really good shape for a person in those circumstances. And it's not like it's a secret that he's 77 or a stroke victim... that was a great Pop update to see, IMOSure, it’s still just a stark difference vs. the image of Pop we have in our head. strokes are so rough. i see a lot of them in my job (healthcare) and it's hard to see someone's life devastated so abruptly and out of nowhere. mind your blood pressure lads, that shit is no joke.Man, Pop looks rough![]()
