Trade Murray?
I think thats the only path to improving, but it depends on his current value. Truthfully, there may not be a path for improvement there unless a truly stupidly GM steps up... (I'm looking at you Joe Dumars)..

Said all along it was a bigger mistake that Denver won than the spurs losing the last game. Minny was built to beat Denver. Their GM has said in the past that was their blueprint. Denver should have been tanking the last week of the season not just the last couple games to drop to the 4/5. I bet the Spurs felt it was better to have Minny/Denver beat each other up than have Minny stomp the Luka less Lakers and come in fresh.

This is seriously the most shocking series I have seen since the Pistons skullfucked the Lakers in 2004.
I wasn't shocked by it. I felt it had many parallels to the Spurs losing to the Mavs in '09. Spurs were the third seed and the Mavs were the sixth seed. Mavs were a hated rival of the Spurs that had dethroned them a few a years earlier. Wolves did the same to the Nuggets a few years ago. Spurs lost Manu to injury before the series started and the Wolves lost Gordan to injury granted he did play in a few games. Duncan like Jokic didn't have a great series.

We’ve screwed Denver twice now in regular season finales. We beat them during Vic’s rookie year in the Devontae Graham game and the Big Daddy Val game this year.

Both years ended with embarrassing playoff exits to Minnesota for them tbh
:st-lol:

Kenny Smith saying 'Congratulations San Antonio' at the start of the Inside the NBA post game recap :ROFLMAO: he sounds mad.

Not to mention our best player that year literally broke his arm in the last regular season game
Yeah, I agree. The Spurs had some injuries but Gordon & Watson were out this series basically. I do remember Gary Neil hit a buzzer beater in Grizz series. Ha. I do have to admit Ginobiliiiii is my favorite player of all time. Should’ve won that finals MVP versus the Pistons.

I standby this doesn’t alter Joker’s legacy. I am not a Jokic fan but the dude is pretty amazing. He was not as good the series. They had injuries plus Murray was terrible in gm 6 as well. Minnesota plays scrappy as hell.

Edwards is unlikely to ever get healthy this playoffs. Did you not see him this series? Looked 60% at best.
A couple of years ago he was teetering on being the best player in the NBA and he just hasn't been able to put it together since then and I don't think it's for any other reason than he just can't get healthy.
