NBA Official 2026 NBA Playoffs Thread

Biggest series legacy hit on a superstar player (Jokic) since Lebron's 2011 Finals. Never thought he would be reduced to a mental midget. He got punked, tbh
I love Tim, but didn’t he lose to Memphis in 2011 in the 1st rd. Hell they were 61 and 21 I believe. Joker was not himself fully in this series , but I don’t think it does anything to his legacy. He’s a three time MVP and well deserved.

Denver was cooked when Gordon went down. Was literally propping up their defense. As soon as he went down, it was a layup line no matter who was in.

Thankfully the Spurs have a slightly better rim protector than Horse Boy tbh

Gordon really changes them. Without him they were not scary at all. Incredible impact he had on the whole team.

It's funny how we had all that wrist cutting after losing the finale game because most were certain we were getting Denver in the 2nd round lol
Devin Brown was all over this. Worry about who you’re facing in the 1st round and don’t ball out in a meaningless game 82 that doesn’t affect your seeding. Rookie coach Getting Harper injured playing 3D-chess

Timmy had fn Matt Bonner and a washed McDyess next to him against prime ZBo and Marc Gasol thanks to Pops infinite wisdom of gluing Splitter to the bench all season tbh

I also think Denver used a lot of energy late in the season. They looked run down tonight. Jokic especially looked tired this series. Or old maybe. IDK. But Rudy didn't get better overnight.

When is game 1 Spurs Wolves? The NBA app has conflicting info, showing Sunday and Monday in different places

This is seriously the most shocking series I have seen since the Pistons skullfucked the Lakers in 2004.
Pretty similar too.

Lakers were ultra soft as soon as the pedo got hurt and Pistons just straight bullied them.

Incredibly soft performance by the Nuggets this series wow

On the other side, Wemby free roaming off of Gobert will block all lanes that they had against Denver's "defense".
This. It's either Gobert gets benched (very unlikely) or Minny settling for threes mostly, which isn't so potent an approach considering their 2 best outside threats are out.
This will be tough, but the Spurs should be favored significantly.

Biggest surprise for me this series how collectively weak and gutless Denver has looked for a championship team. It's like they have accepted their fate that Minnesota is their daddy.
