That and when he lost his shit at Bryant during preseason. We have an intimidating coach again, tbhIf he is as much of a nutcase as that clip made him to seem, I’m fucking opening his church
so hes taken the best of Pop and removed the worst of Pop?He did all the good little things that pop used to do and did the opposite of the stupid shit pop did. Harper would’ve never seen the floor again after his first foul.
Yes. Wemby playing with 3 fouls in 1st half is something that would never happened during Pop tenureHe did all the good little things that pop used to do and did the opposite of the stupid shit pop did. Harper would’ve never seen the floor again after his first foul.
Zero complaints on my end. Was worried after last season but its looking apparent he never was able to instill his own system without a training camp. Also helps the Spurs have elite assistant coaches for the first time in years.
There’s no reason to be worried about ft’s. Harper and castle will wind up between 70 and 85% and it’s not really a matter of will or effort. They’ll just end up hitting at that rate. Not at practice. But gotta make these guys shoot threes and fts. Especially Harper and Castle. Our two ball dominant guards can’t be 5-12 from line. Pathetic. Threes they didn’t take many but decent clip so far. 2/5. For these two.
You know aThat mic'ed TO intervention seemed great and ... genuine, until he used the word "mundane"...
That's when I understood his speech was as much if not more directed to the observers than his players, whom most had probably never heard that word before lmao
I like what I saw yesterday in terms of coaching but one game is definitely not enough for me to be confident in his inexperienced coaching.
very SpursyYou know a

Basketball
t-shirt is on the way. Or at least, it should be. And I'll buy one. I don't give a fuck it was planned... it sure as fuck hit the spot to me, and it established our identity. Fucking love it.
This might deserve its own thread, but I see where Tiago Splitter is taking over head coaching duties in Portland after Billups arrest on gambling charges.
